BIOGRAPHY

I was introduced to BMX riding by my younger brother. After watching him ride for a couple of months I wanted to give it a go. I was immediately captivated and hence I was able to pursue my dream goal of becoming an Olympian. This sport certainly has it's challenges but I have loved the past 14 plus years while competing nationally and internationally. There have been some significant injuries along the way but these just make me more determined to come back and climb back to the top of the podium. I am extremely fortunate that I love what I do and certainly hope that what I have learnt over the years I am able to pass onto future NZ BMX Olympians. As much as I love riding, I also enjoying coaching and mentoring some of the upcoming junior female riders.
