Cameron arrives in Hawaii -

Hi there

Well I finally arrived in Kona, Hawaii for the Hawaii Ironman World Championships next week (October 13th) My time in Boulder, Colorado training was fantastic and I had some big weeks in the pool, on the bike and hitting the running trails. It's a fantastic place to train and we did some very high Altitude training in Winter Park about 90mins from Boulder. There I trained at 2600m above sea level and even had one run at 3160m! breath taking training!

The weather had been fantastic the whole time I was there with a record breaking summer (70 days over 32c) the last week in Boulder we were starting to get some cold days and it was starting to snow in the high peaks so it was time to leave and head to hawaii. I finally have my family with me again after not seeing them for 8 weeks so the kids are loving the warm weather and swimming pools here in Kona.

I'll be in touch next week with how I'm feeling for the big day. I've attached some photo's from my time in Boulder and also my first few sessions in Hawaii.

Also attached is the latest copy of the Australian Triathlon and Multisport magazine

Kind Regards

Cameron Brown
